Friday

Last day of lessons for 2017 and looks like we might have some light rain. It has been quite an August as far as weather goes. I don't remember any year with so many rainy, cold days. All you swimmers deserve a big pat on the back for being such troopers about it.
Look for the schedule for 2018 around the end of February.

Thursday

We made it through the storms yesterday. Looks like we haven't quite made it through the rain. Umbrellas for the deck!

Wednesday

Looks like we'll be ok for the morning - although we still might get wet. Those on the deck, you can help me out by keeping an eye on radar.

Session 9

Today is the start of my last session for the year. Looks like it will be a cloudy one. Returning swimmers are Ben, Caden, Kayla, Caleb, Andrew, and Kosmo. New to my school are Griffin, Maia and Siri. Congratulations to Cully and Logan - they both passed Eels last week and are now on the Wall of Fame.

Thursday

It's a chilly breeze this morning. Be prepared when you get out.

Wednesday

Today could be another hit or miss day. Remember, we do swim in the rain. If there is thunderstorms, they shouldn't last long so I hope to get part of everyone's lesson in.

Monday

Session 8 begins today with beautiful sunny skies - although a little chilly just yet. Returning swimmers are Cully, Max, Jerrin, Emma and Logan. New this week is Tozio, Zenio, Ella, Hannah and Helena.

Thursday

I'm afraid today is going to be one of those hit or miss days. I do want to get everyone in the water and at least work on what they need the most. We will swim in the rain but obviously not through thunder and lightning. They seem to be small cells that are going through so shouldn't last long. It will be very cold getting out though. Be prepared

Wednesday

First my apologies for not introducing session 7 on Monday. It's been a crazy week for many reasons. Returning swimmers are Haakon, Whitney, Micah, Talia, and Marie. New swimmers are Jerrin, Aubrey, Andrew, and Avery. Forecast tomorrow isn't very good. Looks like we will be hit or miss. We do swim in the rain but if there is thunder near we don't. But since that often doesn't last long, we might be able to get part of your lesson in.

Hopefully the storms are done and we can get all lessons in. Remember, we do swim in just rain.

Session 6

I can't believe I got all lessons in last Friday. Thanks to Addie and Nolan for coming back at 3:00 to get theirs in. Also congratulations to Addie and Graham for making it to the Wall of Fame.
Looks like the start of session 6 will be sunny but cool. Returning swimmers are Haakon, Preston, Ben, Ella, Marie, Lindsey, and Radley. New swimmers are Kosmo, Austin, and Reagan.

Friday

Looks like we could be hit or miss today. I don't think I will miss a whole lesson so if possible come on over - we'll get in as much as possible.

Wednesday

Looks like a great day for lessons. Treading test for those levels requiring it.

Tuesday

Today could be interesting. Forecast is for scattered thundershowers. We may have to be in and out. I'll try my hardest to get as much of each lesson in as I can. Have to be safe though.

Session 5

Today we begin session 5 - another semi private week so lots of swimmers. Returning are Addie, Nolan, Grady, Claire, Grayson, Ashlyn, Lila, Graham, Kaitlin, Noah, John, Elizabeth, Vivian, Lizzy, Jackson, and Trevor. New this week are Leo, George, Oliver and Matthew. Congratulations to Kaitlin who passed Eels last week and is now in the Wall of Fame.

Friday

Beautiful sunny day for the end of this session. After yesterday, it is very welcome.

Thursday

We will probably get a few sprinkles today. Remember, we swim in the rain.

Wednesday

I just realized I hadn't made my new session welcome on Monday. We have lots of swimmers this week as it is a semi private week. Returning swimmers are Noah, Isaac, Hannah, Luke, AJ, Ashley, Max, Grady, Claire, Jackson, and Trevor. New swimmers are Ashlyn, Lila, Graham, Kaitlyn, Audrey, Linden, Junia, and Esther.  We dodged a bullet last night - lots of tree damage up north. Treading test today for those levels requiring it.

Friday

I was worried yesterday about the forecast for today. Now it looks a bit better although we could see a pop up shower here and there. Should get everyone in for their last day.

Wednesday

Hopefully the thunder is done. Remember, we swim in the rain. If thunder returns, we might have to clear out quickly. Nothing should last long so hopefully I can get at least partial lessons for everyone. Umbrellas might be welcome for those on the deck. Treading test today for those levels requiring it.

Monday

It's going to be a chilly day for the start of session 3. Good news is the sun is shining and the water is warm. It'll be cold getting out though. Swimmers returning this week are Sophie, Ben, Eli, Ella, Talia, Micah M., Jasper and Violet.  New swimmers are Micah D. and Allia. Congratulations to Seth who passed Eels last week and is now in the Wall of Fame.

Looks like the severe weather is past for now anyway. We'll get in what we can - through light rain if we have to. If things change, I'll post here as soon as I can

Looks like a good day as long as the weatherman is correct and storms hold off till late today. Treading test today for those levels requiring it.

Tuesday

Rain is just about done and water is 88 degrees so we should be good to go.

Monday

It's a cool start for session 2. The water is warm but have something warm to put on when you get out. This is a semi private week so lots of swimmers and several new to my program. Returning swimmers are Anna, Emma, Brooke, Sydney, Hunter, Lily, Whitney, Nolan, Seth, Addie, Nolan, Vivian, Lizzy, Darby and Grayson. New this summer are Brynn, Maggie, Elle, Oliver and Liam.
Congratulations to Noah who passed Eels last week and the first swimmer of 2017 to make The Wall of Fame.

Friday

Looks like we'll have clouds for the end of this first session. If there is light rain, remember we still swim.

Thursday

Lots of sun today. Don't forget the sunscreen. Front crawl test today for those levels requiring it.

Wednesday

Showers seem to be over so things look good for the morning. I guess there's still a chance for the afternoon. Treading test today for those levels requiring it.

Tuesday

Weatherman wasn't very nice yesterday. Storm came in at 1:45 instead of 3:15. Hope today fares better

hello happy swimmers. Today begins 2017 swimming lessons. It's cloudy right now but the sun is trying to come out. Hope weatherman is right and storms hold off till tonight. This weeks swimmers are Logan, Emma, Noah, Isaac, Hannah, Ben I., Max, Owen, Ben M., and Grace.
