Final post for the 2018 season. The weather waited till the last week to cause cancellations. Had to cancel 3 Thursday afternoon because of heavy thunder storm. That made for hard work for Andrew and Maia to pass their levels on Friday. Congratulations to Maia for making the Wall of Fame.
Look for 2019 schedule late February. Thanks to all swimmers and parents for making the 2018 season awesome

Special weather statement has been lifted. As soon as the rain lets up a little we’ll continue with lessons

Thursday

Looks like we’ll have to watch the sky again this afternoon. We swim in the rain but not thunder and lightning. Parents help me watch the radar.

Tuesday

Looks like there could be rain today - especially in the afternoon. Remember, we swim in the rain. If there is thunder parents on the deck could help by watching radar and see if it is coming toward us. If we have to get out, it usually does not last long so I don’t anticipate canceling everything.

Monday

Today starts the beginning of my last session for this summer. Returning swimmers are Radley and for the first time his little brother Zeke, Rush, Jerrin, Graham, Caleb, Andrew and Maia.

Looks like we will have sunshine and heat for session 8. Returning swimmers are Haakon, Xavier, Max, Etta, Andrew, Jerrin, Allia, Jasper, and Violet. New to us is Vaughn.

Pretty chilly outside today but water is 88. Have something warm for kids to get into when they get out.

Monday

Beautiful sunny day for the start of session 7. This is the last semi private week. Returning swimmers are Ashlyn, Lilah, Jackson, Trevor, Claire, Caden, Tristan, Fiona, Grayson along with little sister Eliza taking lessons for the first time and Linden along with little brother Cooper also taking lessons for the first time. New swimmers to my program are Bella, Jack, Rush, Case, Margaux, Felix, Kate, and Emily.

Saturday

Mermaid Ashley was swimming in my pool on Thursday. She also made it on the Wall of Fame along with her brother AJ.  Also Nolan and Ashlyn made the Wall of Fame. Congratulations to these 4 swimmers.

Wednesday

Storms could pop up suddenly today. I’ll do my best to get back on here if that happens. Remember though, we do swim in the rain. The mighty bull has bit the dust. It has a leak somewhere in the outer ring. I won’t have time till this weekend to try and find it and patch it. Treading test today for those levels requiring it.

Monday

Preston made huge improvement last week - from not putting his head under water on Monday to wanting to do everything under water by Friday.
This week is a semi private week so we have lots of swimmers. Forecast is for a cool week though. Swimmers are all veterans except for first timer - Claire.  Others are - Addie, Nolan, Owen, Max, Tazio, Zenio, AJ, Ashley, Audrey, Jackson, Trevor, Junio, Esther, Maia, Siri, Ashlyn, and Lilah.
Congratulations to Nadia who passed Eels last week and is now on the Wall of Fame.

Looks like we will get more rain today. Be prepared on the deck.

Made it through the morning. Heavy rain at the end. Still raining now but looks like we might have a little break for the afternoon

The rain has started. Possible thunderstorms included. I will do my best to inform you of cancellations but they may come last minute. We also might have to shorten lessons quickly. Parents you can help by keeping an eye on radar as we swim.
Still have the one opening next week at 1:00 for one swimmer in a semi private lesson

Today starts session 5 - another private week. All returning swimmers except Savio joins brother Zenio. Other swimmers are Ben, Nadia, Ella, Preston, John, Noah, Emma and Maggie.
Forecast for the week is for cooler than normal with chance of storms at the end of the week.

Hopefully the forecast is correct and we are done with the thunder and lightning. We may get rain so people on the deck be prepared.

Session 4 starts today. Forecast is for a warm week. Returning swimmers are Aubrey, Haakon and for the first time his little brother Xavier, Brooke, Griffin, Max E., Ella and Kayla. Returning after a couple years is Nadia. And for the first time I have a 6 month old - Max.

Congratulations to Anna, Grady, and Hunter who made it to the Wall of Fame last week. Even with lousy swimming weather. This week is starting with chance of showers both today and tomorrow. End of the week is expected to be sauna weather. Swimmers this week are Micah, Claire, Luke, Talia, Austin, Lindsey, Allia, Jasper, Violet and Ella.

Thursday

Wow - clouds and rain again! I can’t remember having 4 days in a row of cloudy, cool and rainy weather for lessons. The kids this week are really troopers to get in the water and really work hard. All while shivering.

Looks like this morning may be a little wet again. Water is warm though. I had another cancellation yesterday. These are my current openings. July 16 - 11:00 for a private lesson. July 23 - 1:00 - that is for one swimmer in a semi private lesson. July 30 - 2 spots for semi private lessons. One at 11:00 and one at 2:30. Both spots for 2 swimmers. Pass the word.

Today starts the first week of semi private lessons. Forecast says the rain will end. Veteran swimmers returning this week are Addie, Nolan, Whitney, Liam, Micah, Talia, Austin, Anna, Hunter, Lily, Andrew, Grady, Claire and their little brother Luke  taking lessons for the first time. New swimmers are Fiona, Tristan, Henry, Franklin, Emory, and Bennett.

So I’ve had some switching and cancellations so here are the current openings. July 16 for a private lesson at 11:00. July 23 for a semi private lesson at 1:00 for one more swimmer. July 30 at 2:30 for a semi private lesson for 2 swimmers. Pass the word.

Here we go and just like last year, the start of lessons for this summer has a chance for storms. At least, all my swimmers are veterans and know to keep tuned. We swim in the rain but have to get out when we have thunder or lightning

June 5

Summer is coming and lessons start Monday. Because of some switching and canceling, I still have 2 open spots. One is a private lesson the week of July 16 at 11:00 and the other is a semi private lesson for one swimmer July 23 at 1:00. Pass the word. Coming up Monday will be Ben Ims, Ben Jerdee, Isaac, Hannah, and Luke Hovden, Micah Decker, Tazio Dennison, Logan and Emma Kraby and Ben Mostad.  Wow, 3 Ben’s in one week. Hope I can keep that straight!

April 14

It sure doesn’t look like we’ll be swimming any time soon but it helps to think about it.
I am all full for private lessons for this summer. I have 2 openings in semi private for one swimmer each week. Those are 1:00 week of July 23rd and 2:00 week of July 30.
