Update 2

 Rain continues with heavier rain on and off. No lessons this afternoon.

 No more lessons this morning. A slight chance for afternoon. Will repost by noon

Wednesday

 Looks like I’ll be able to get some of the lessons in this morning. Once the storms arrive, I’ll get back on here for an update. 

Session 4

 We’ll be starting on a sunny day but forecast so far doesn’t look good for Wednesday. Remember we swim in rain but not in thunder and lightning. 

Use gate closest to garage, bring own goggles, don’t need masks, and bathroom is only for emergencies. 

Swimmers this week are Ben, Emma, Ava, Margaux, Vera, little brother Fabian for first time, Ella, and Bennett. New to me is Miles. 

Congratulations to Andrew and Bennett who made it to the Wall of Fame last week. 

 Bennett got to swim in the rain for his lesson yesterday 

Session 3

 We begin session 3 today. 

See June 14 post for any covid updates and general information. 

The forecast is for pop up showers later in the day - hopefully after 3:00. But if one does hit during lesson times, check here for updates. We do swim in the rain but not thunder and lightning. 

Congratulations to Jasper who made it to the Wall of Fame last week. 

Swimmers this week are Liam, Henry, Hannah, Luke, Little brother Eli for the first time, Noah, Andrew and Bennett. Also new this week are Cooper and Emma. 

Session 2

 First of all, see June 14 post about current covid information. 

Starting session 2 today with a very chilly temperature. The pool is 90 so we should be comfortable in the water. Be sure your swimmers have towels and something warm to put on when getting out. Wednesday forecast is back to the 90’s  

Swimmers this week are - Jasper, Violet, Parker, Rush, Case, Junia, and Micah. New swimmers are - Sawyer, Ella and Ben. Welcome to them. I do not have goggles so your swimmers should bring their own.

June 14

 And so summer begins. This is the first session of the 2021 season for Rosie’s swim school. I don’t have many covid concerns. I’m fully vaccinated so won’t require anyone in the water with me and you may be on the deck waiting for your lesson. I did learn last year though, that for the very young - around 2- we did accomplish more with a parent in the water. If your swimmer is not feeling well, please let me know by 8:00 for morning lessons and by 12:45 for afternoon lessons. 

Please use the gate on the garage side of the yard. I sometimes let my dog out on the deck so you won’t have to get by him. 

My bathroom again is just for emergencies. I have a friend staying in the basement and that is her bathroom. 

Swimmers this week are - Ben, Talia, Vince, Lily, Grace, Dakota, Margaux, Junia, Esther and London.
