Session 8

 Today begins the last week I’ll be giving lessons for 2026. Being 80 years old now, I can only say I will continue as long as my body allows it. 

Congratulations to Miles, Sawyer and Ingrid for passing Eels and making it to the Wall of Fame. That makes 11 swimmers that graduated from my program this year. I’m up to 211.

Session 7

 Hot to start, cool Tuesday and Wednesday, than warming up again. No big storms in the forecast.

Friday

 As you have probably guessed, the forecast is true so we will have lessons at Americinn - 

1320 Bollenbacher Dr. go past the old ice arena. Tell them at the desk you are there for a swimming lesson. 

Session 6

 We’re starting off hot again which is always nice for in the pool. Long range forecast looks good till Friday. I guess we wait and see what happens.

Session 5

 We made it through last weeks heat wave - yay. Now this morning the storms are playing with us. It looks like another small cell will be coming through around 8:30. If we can get past that the rest of the day looks good.

 Session 4 will be a hot one. We’re under an extreme heat warning till Thursday night. Sunscreen for swimmers. Adults look for the shade.

 Hope you had a good 4th. Today starts session 3. First 2 sessions were kind of chilly in the mornings.   This week looks to be on the warm side -which is good. I had 3 more swimmers make the wall of fame - Jack, Eli who was the last of 5 siblings and Thea

 Here comes the iffy weather. I think we’ll be ok this morning but they are predicting thunder storms for the afternoon. I come in at noon for lunch so will try and make a decision then

June 15

 As usual, first week of lessons is starting with cooler weather. Water is warm but will be chilly when you get out.

 Lessons for 2025 are now in the book. Added 2 more to the Wall of Fame. Congratulations to London and Finn for passing Eels this week. And special kudos to Finn - he became the 200 swimmer to make it through all my levels. 

Wednesday

 We might have some pop showers this morning. Nothing serious so we will swim 

Session 7

 We will be starting with a warm day but should cool off midweek. Lots of thunderstorms last week but this week should be ok.

 Looks like rain off and on this morning but no storms. Lessons will continue but deck and chairs are wet
